cityscapes of boston
I am very inspired by the curving roads, highways and structured bridges around Boston. I have tried to relate the feeling of motion as well as the graphic mark man makes on the environment.
The painted surface is rough and thick in some places, yet showing the canvas and simple washes of under-painting. Some of the work becomes more abstract, intending to deal more with color and form rather than the narrative subject matter.
